too many pieces logoMarisa is a veterinary school student in the making and in the meantime she’s running her Etsy shop Too Many Pieces. She makes bead sprites of old (and new) school video games, and the inspiration for this came from her love of gaming. She’s a gamer and a crafter!

In addition to talking about her craft and Etsy business, Marisa shares honestly about the rigors and realities of applying to veterinary school.

We talk about her motivation behind launching her Etsy shop and what she has learned along the way by just jumping in and working her way through “life on Etsy”. In addition to selling on Etsy she also tutors locally so we get to talk about how she manages her time and makes it all work.

Being in a niche on Etsy with some competition, Marisa shares how she distinguishes herself and her Etsy shop – Too Many Pieces – from others selling similar items. Her approach to customer service, for her, makes all the difference, she says.

In our convo, Marisa also shares areas of improvement that she working on as well which is so crucial for all Etsy sellers i.e. always work on getting better and better.
