Cristina runs the Etsy shop LaceyFields and has done so for over 6 years now. She also knows what it takes when it comes to keeping your Etsy business afloat when life strikes because it did… And then she did…

Cristina started her Etsy shop when a friend suggested she put a print she made for husband up for sale on the site, within 2 weeks the print had sold 20 times and that’s when she knew she onto something.

In our convo, Cristina talks about how she transitioned from her job in corporate America working as a lawyer to a full-time entrepreneurship. We discuss what the transition looked like for her and she and her husband decided the timing would be right to make the switch.

Then life happened and because of a medical condition she had to shut down her shop and was out of commission for way longer than she or anyone anticipated… But this is an inspiring comeback story and Cristina shares what the journey was like for her and offers encouragement to others who might be facing (or may one day face) something similar.

We also discuss:

  • Cristina’s new product line and how she developed it
  • Selling on Handmade at Amazon and how she balances both platforms
  • Etsy shop promo techniques that have worked and ones she’s working on now
  • Handling sales droughts
  • What she’s reading now
  • Cristina’s favorite tools and resources
  • And so much more…

Cristina’s Etsy Shop ShoutOut

  • The Wheatfield by Katie Daisy – she sells planners, calendars, and other products featuring her own original artwork
