Stacey runs the Etsy shop Fox Under The Moon Art where she sells self-love themed art prints, greeting cards and gifts to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

Her journey on Etsy started in 2014, and has had many iterations. Her most recent venture however started in February 2021 has been by far the most successful of them all and she’s well on her way to making it the source of her full time income.

At the time we spoke she hd over 500 sales on Etsy (yes… in less than six months!), and had recently set up her own e-commerce website using Wix and Ecwid (you’ll hear all about this combo in our convo this week πŸ˜‰ ).

A large part of her success she attributes to her approximately 7000+ (and growing every single day) followers on her Facebook page whom she says make up around 80-85% of her Etsy traffic.

Topics Discussed

  • Finding success on Etsy after multiple iterations of an Etsy shop
  • Publishing a personal brand and making connections with fans
  • Using Facebook as a marketing tool
  • Using Wix and Ecwid to build an ecommerce site as an alternative to other popular ecommerce site builders
  • Finding a good work-life balance and documenting the journey along the way
  • Demystifying Etsy fees (at least we try to πŸ™‚ )
  • And so much more…

Stacey’s Etsy Shop ShoutOuts

  • Look Happy Shop – run by Joe Latham where he sells his own original illustrations and comics.
  • The Mockup Muse and Diverse Mockups – both shops sell mockup templates that feature people of diverse backgrounds for print-on-demand businesses.
