My guest this week is Rachel Trotta and she runs the Etsy shop Chesapeake Bay Apothecary. Rachel makes and sells a variety of beauty and cosmetic products.
We talk about how her line of products came from a need that she had which has now expanded to a whole line of products and continues to expand.
Rachel also candidly shares how she prepared to start her journey on Etsy by doing her own market research (and continues to do so) and explains how new Etsy can do the same.
Rachel shares her strategy for promoting her Etsy shop and how she grows and uses her mailing list.
We also discuss in detail the charity organization that she has chosen to support with a portion of the proceeds from her Etsy sales… Very inspiring!
