My guest this week is a mover and shaker in the art world… Okay, those are my words not hers, but I think that’s a fact. Rachel Bingaman is a professional artist based in the Washington DC area whose medium of preference is oil. Rachel owns the Etsy shop Bing Art.
Rachel’s work is fascinating and very eye-catching, so it’s no wonder that it has caught the attention of major TV networks, including NBC and The Discovery Channel, who have featured her pieces on their network shows as recently as last year. I won’t spill the beans here, but in our conversation Rachel shares more about that and how she got to show her art on these national platforms.
More recently, one of her landscape paintings was included the book “The Custom Art Collection: Art for the Contemporary Home” by Jamin & Ashley Mills.
She shares her experience selling in galleries and online on Etsy in addition to art and craft shows; there’s a lot to learn from Rachel. We talk about the inspiration behind her art, how she balances her time and manages her schedule as a full-time professional artist, wife, and mother. I think you’ll find Rachel’s story to be very inspiring.
